Hike Perissa - Ancient Thira - Kamari

Start at the bus stop in Perissa. You walk after few hundred meters the footpath steep uphill and get a wonderful view on Perissa. A visit to the excavations of Ancient Thira at the height of 360m are recommendable. There you have got an super view to Kamari and Perissa. You leave the street from the parking place below Ancient Thira after the first bend and take the narrow footpath to Kamari.

On that way you will pass a small cave called Zoodochos Pigis and the chapel with the same name - a nice place to rest. In the slippery and wet cave you can find a source. The beautiful colors in the cave are only visible with own lighting. To complete the hike walk the paved footpath to Kamari, there you can stroll on the beach promenade if you want to.
